Our Craft
Jasmine provides curly hair services and education so that you can love the hair you were born with and have the confidence to wear your hair proudly. Natural textures are magical, and we want you to feel empowered by your hair.
The Studio
You can think of Jasmine Kay Hair Co. salon studio as a mini-salon. It's a beautiful salon space in a small mixed use office building.
We know how important it is to feel special, pampered, and beautiful in a relaxing ambiance.
Jasmine is committed to anti-racist, queer affirming, and all-inclusive practices. Clients of any race, identity, sexuality, gender, or physical attributes are welcome and respected.
Anything less than accepting is not tolerated in this space.
Hey There!
I'm Jasmine.
I became a hairstylist right out of high school in 2010, not knowing what I wanted to do with my life. I am a hairstylist today, because I fell in love with my clients and my craft!
Originally from West Michigan, I have now been serving our Wilmington, NC community for the past 8 years.
Since moving to the south, my passion for naturally curly hair has flourished! I travel, at least twice annually, to learn all I can about curly hair and also the latest blonding techniques and trends.
You can often catch me eating out at local restaurants or quenching my thirst at my usual watering holes.
On the contrary, you can also find me in my kitchen, baking appetizers and shareables for get togethers with friends. My home-made soft, cheddar pretzel bites are always a crowd favorite!
I also try to soak up as much vitamin D as possible! Whether it be walking the dogs, working outside in my gardens or boating out to Masonboro Island.
All that to say, I got you covered with new, cute hairstyles to wear whatever your occasion! Prepare to say goodbye to boring ponytails.
